It’s June, the time for our ATC again! This year, our ATC was held on the 9th June, 11th-13th June at school. The training camp was held to train the guides and rangers on the techniques and spirit of girl guides. Several activities were carried out on the four-days camp.
9/6 – PRE-CAMP
The first thing to do on the pre-camp day, the participants were moving the bamboos to the campsite.
It’s the ice breaking + cabaran session! The participants had to break missions to complete the station games.
Patrol Identity Competition was carried out on this day, each patrol were required to make a flag and name tags representing their patrol to take part in this competition. Presentation was given by two representatives from every patrol. The above pictures shown are some flags and name tags from different patrols.
11/6 – DAY 1
Morning inspection was carried out to inspect the result of building gadgets every day.
General assembly after the morning inspection. The EXCOs pointed out the mistakes that the participants had done and advised them to make improvement. Penalty which is ‘hentak’, was given to the participants of every patrol according to the mistakes they had done.
On that day, we also held the Backwood’s Man Competition. The participants paid hard work to do their best for this competition!
12/6 – DAY 2
Morning inspection & general assembly.
Miniature presented by the patrols for the miniature competition.
Modern cooking competition was held at the canteen.
The members were working hard to build their gadgets.
On the camp night, every patrol had performed with their items such as song, dance and speciality. Game session was carried out during the night. Everyone enjoyed the performances and had a great time together.
The presenters from each patrol were presenting their grand masquerades to the EXCOs.
13/6 – DAY 3
Drilling Competition.
